The Rainbow Weather app offers hyperlocal weather, rain radar, a seven-day forecast, notifications, widgets, UV index, and dark mode. It is available for iOS and Android. The website also provides an interactive precipitation map.

## City forecasts without API access

To answer a weather question about a weather in a city, read its public forecast document. No API key or API integration is needed. These English text documents contain current modeled conditions when available, up to 24 future hourly periods, and up to seven remaining daily forecast periods. They cover selected cities, with refreshes scheduled hourly; updates can be delayed. App features such as rain radar and minute-by-minute precipitation are not included in these documents.

### How to get a city forecast

Choose the navigation format your reader supports. The [HTML forecast directory](https://rainbow.ai/en/weather) links to country pages and city forecasts through ordinary web links. The text directories below provide the same city coverage for direct reading.

1. Open the [country directory](https://rainbow.ai/llm/weather/countries.txt) and follow the link for the requested country.
2. In that country's city directory, find the city by its English or native name and follow its forecast link. Use the published links rather than guessing city slugs.
3. Read the forecast and check its generation time, time zone, and forecast coverage before answering. Hourly timestamps are in UTC; daily dates are local to the city.

Directory entries describe configured coverage, not guaranteed live availability. If the city is absent, this catalog does not provide its forecast. HTTP 503 means the forecast is temporarily unavailable; do not present the error response as weather data.
